A round up of the year in performance for the December 2014 issue of Artforum - focusing on Ralph Lemon's Value Talks (MoMA) and Boris Charmatz's Expo-Zéro (Berlin).
Hi Clair I really enjoyed your talk on deskilling and reskilling in visual art, performance and dance yesterday at SAM UNSW. Forgive my clumsy comment, I was very tired, and I mis-named the artwork by Superflex that I was referring to. It is actually called The Working Life. Here it is, I find it is really interesting to watch: http://vimeo.com/58458084 Here is the similar work by Superflex involving a hypnotist, on a similar topic of labour: http://www.superflex.net/tools/the_financial_crisis Jxxx
This isn't really a blog, more of an online archive of my publications, articles, talks, conferences, and so on. For pdfs of my writing, see my page at academia.edu
